I've been thinking lately that I really want to see the vine cast return, whether I'm part of the organizing force or just a panelist, or whatever, and was wondering if anyone wanting to join in the fun and/or help in some way.
I'm willing to take on the brunt of the work (and potential cost) to put it together if that is what it takes, but of course panelists will be needed...and although I do consider myself pretty "fair", given that I'm probably not the most unbiased person when it comes to certain things, and definitely don't fit into the majority opinion on much of the news, at least some balancing force would be cool to give an even handed approach.
Any and all ideas are very very welcome, and while I'll be working on ways to do it with or without much help, all feedback and volunteers to be panelists or help some other way would be showered with gifts of praise and...um.....the joy of being part of the project and such :P
If I can't drum up enough support to pull the vinecast together after a couple weeks, I may just do another sort of newsvine related podcast under a different name...but I would love to get this back off the ground and keep it flying.

Looks like I finally have full control of www.thevinecast.com, and it even looks like I have a permanent co-host. The vinecast WILL be returning in the very very near future, with a set shedule and consistent episodes once a week once it starts. The lineup for guest hosts starts down in the comments, so if you are interested in taking part from time to time, let me know. There are some that already have and you'll be getting an email with details as soon as they are available or I have time to make them up ;)
And don't forget to hop over to www.thevinecast.com and subscribe to the feed...you won't regret it...at the very least listening to me try not to go insane if everything falls apart will be hilarious :)
